The South Sudanese Canadian Community Centre, established in 2006, is a non-profit organization in Winnipeg, Manitoba, operated by the Council of South Sudanese Communities of Manitoba, offering secure, cost-effective facilities for educational, social, and cultural activities.

We provides various services to promote networking and connection among public members, including newcomer immigrants, Indigenous people, and African Canadians.

Our story
The South Sudanese Community Centre (SSCCC) serves as the home for the South Sudanese Canadian community. It offers culturally relevant programs and activities for self-improvement and community unity. SSCCC members help address social issues faced by refugees and immigrants, such as poverty, family issues, cultural isolation, discrimination, and unemployment.

What we Do
Our primary causes
To provides settlement services to South Sudanese immigrants, refugees, and newcomers, focusing on social and economic integration, employment training, career assistance, safety, and crime prevention. We foster community unity through cooperation and sharing information, expertise, resources, and skills.
Community Building
- We ensure the community center’s smooth operation and financial sustainability, promoting South Sudanese history and culture in Canadian society.
- We foster community engagement and participation in positive life choices for young people, promoting relations between other community centers and community groups.
