Our story

The South Sudanese Community Centre (SSCCC) serves as the home for the South Sudanese Canadian community. It offers culturally relevant programs and activities for self-improvement and community unity. SSCCC members help address social issues faced by refugees and immigrants, such as poverty, family issues, cultural isolation, discrimination, and unemployment.

What we Do

Our primary causes

To provides settlement services to South Sudanese immigrants, refugees, and newcomers, focusing on social and economic integration, employment training, career assistance, safety, and crime prevention. We foster community unity through cooperation and sharing information, expertise, resources, and skills.

Community Building

  • We ensure the community center’s smooth operation and financial sustainability, promoting South Sudanese history and culture in Canadian society.
  • We foster community engagement and participation in positive life choices for young people, promoting relations between other community centers and community groups.
